Durkan Limited selected as Construction Partner for £70million Clapham Park Estate project
Community contractor, Durkan Limited, has been selected as the construction partner to redevelop the Clapham Park Estate, in South-West London. Working in partnership with Clapham Park Homes Ltd, the £70million regeneration project will take place over the next five years and will include the refurbishment of 537 existing homes and the creation of a further 229 new homes.
During the first phase Durkan will design and refurbish 67 existing homes in three separate blocks on the estate, namely Whitely House, Rigg House and Picton House.
Phase 1 is due to commence on site in Autumn 2008 and will include internal and external refurbishment and environmental improvement works; as well as the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms, window renewals, roof repairs, concrete and brick repairs, new lifts, balcony repairs and the upgrading of electrical and plumbing services.
