Durkan are demolishing a run-down block of 2-storey garages and construction a 3-storey apartment block for Thurrock Council. The scheme will provide 16 no. 1 and 2-bedroom homes for affordable rent. The development has been designed to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and will create a number of trainee opportunities to help sustain the local economy.
