Project information

The design and construction of 213 key worker accommodation units at Woolmer House, QEII Hospital Site, Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, Herts. Works will be carried out in two phases. The works include the complete demolition of the existing building and the construction of five conjoined blocks of three, four and six storeys.

Each unit is self contained and will be fitted out with white goods and furniture including a bed, desk, chairs and blinds. There will be 3 lifts serving all floors. External works will consist of hard and soft landscaping as well as the creation of parking bays and bicycle sheds. Electronic additions include Satellite TV, Door Entry, CCTV and Information Kiosks.
