Project information
Works for the Shakespeare Globe Trust include the complete refurbishment, re-modelling and extension to the existing 3 storey Victorian building in Bankside. This will provide a new education centre, rehearsal studios and ancillary accommodation. Works will be carried out in 2 phases.
Durkan are retaining the original façade of the warehouse and constructing a contemporary glass roof. The rehearsal studios at the centre will replicate the size and layout of the Shakespeare Globe stage.
