Community initiatives
Residents needs are a key focus - even before work starts
Active local engagement gives Durkan the opportunity to address and provide for local community needs. We provide bespoke initiatives to each of our projects, ensuring that the residents of the homes and communities that we regenerate or refurbish can play an active role in determining all matters that affect them.
Durkan also arrange visits to each school in the areas we work to convey health and safety awareness to children. In addition to this we regularly mentor students at various colleges and academies throughout London about career opportunities in construction.
Durkan continue to offer local residents support through time, knowledge, advice and funding.
