Project information

Durkan are refurbishing one of the most significant social housing resources in the country know as Arlington House. The house at 220 Arlington Road, Camden, NW1 was built over 100 years ago and still remains a hostel for homeless men.

This complex regeneration and remodeling project will be completed in a number of phases and includes 130 supported and self-contained units in a range of flats and bedsits. The project also includes multi-function community rooms, cultural and arts-based rooms such as an art gallery, exhibition space, a museum and dance and music studios. A training and conference centre, workspace units and retail space will also be provided.

Residents will remain in their current homes and be decanted as works progress, some have lived there for over 30 years.
