South Friern Library, Barnet
Project information
Durkan carried out internal refurbishment works to South Friern Library in Barnet. Durkan completely renovated the existing library space and improved facilities by creating toilets for disabled users and new staff areas.
The library closed for the refurbishment works, however, residential accommodation on the upper floors remained occupied throughout the works. The high standard of finishes and continual working relationships with the library staff and surrounding neighbours ensured a highly satisfactory project.
