Delivering Apprenticeships

Durkan continues to promote apprenticeships throughout the construction industry and has recently recruited the following apprentices:

  • Daniel Munson, recruited as an apprentice painter as part of our Framework Partnership with L&Q
  • Shem Frank, recruited as an apprentice carpenter as part of our Framework Partnership with Clapham Park Homes
  • Josh Coote, recruited as an apprentice electrician as part of our work at Poplar HARCA

Durkan has also placed two young trainees on the Central Middlesex Hospital site (a new build housing development). Joe Brennan, Manager at CTI, has commended Durkan for the part we have played in the training of these youths who have both been short-listed for the National Youth Build Awards, which are taking place at the House of Commons on 20 October.
