Durkan start £17m key worker accomodation development for Network Housing Group
Durkan have started a £17 million contract to construct a mix of 145 apartments for key workers on land next to the Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal, north west London.

The development, on behalf of Network Housing Group will provide a mixture of one, two and three bedroom apartments for affordable rent and shared ownership.
The project, ranging to 11 storeys high, will be constructed in 3 blocks and include a basement car park. The homes are designed to achieve Level 4 certification under the Code for Sustainable Homes guidelines. To achieve this rating the development will include 147 bike bays to encourage residents to cycle, biomass boilers, green and brown roofs plus a communal garden and childrens play area.
