Durkan's latest apprentices
Four additional apprentices have recently joined Durkan to learn new skills whilst studying for their NVQ level 2 qualifications.

The apprentices are training in carpentry, electrical installation and plastering and are working on a number of Durkan's construction sites to gain experience in various areas of their chosen trades. Harry Page, 18, Bermondsey commented "Durkan, together with L&Q Housing have really helped me get in to the construction industry. I am mainly based on Durkan's site at the East Dulwich Estate close to where I live but go to Acton College for a week every three weeks. I hope to complete the course next year and continue to work on one of Durkan's sites when fully qualified". Durkan always seek to provide meaningful training and employment opportunities for local residents as a way of sustaining local economies and communities. By working in partnership with many local training and employment providers, we ensure we continue to invest valuable resources in the local area and local businesses.
