New development helps rough sleepers stay off the streets for good
Rough sleepers in Redbridge are being given support, care and advice to take control of their lives at the Jason Lee House hostel, in which Durkan has recently refurbished on behalf of the London Borough of Redbridge.

The Right Honourable Iain Duncan Smith, MP for Chingford and Woodford Green and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, officially opened the building on Friday 27 May at a special event to celebrate the progress so far. Jason Lee House is the first of two major improvements to be completed to tackle homelessness as part of the Government's Places of Change programme to help improve facilities for homeless people. Durkan are also working on the new Welcome Centre which will be completed later this year The new centres provide a focal point for people who use the service and help them to develop new skills and move forward.
