At Durkan we are absolutely committed to ensuring that our employees are treated with dignity and respect, treated fairly and in an approach, which will support the continuous practicability of our health, safety and environmental objectives.
Our in-house HS&E Working Group has further developed our Take Five initiative to bring about practical solutions to health, safety and environmental problems and highlight the benefits of a joint approach on finding new ways to tackle risks at work.
This common set of goals will help everyone to always be at their best, prioritise their tasks and help to reduce incidents and injuries on our sites.
Durkan's commitment to health and safety improvement has further been recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, for the third year running, Durkan has won the prestigious Gold Award from RoSPA.
