Greenwich Wharf | London

Following the successful conclusion of 267 mixed tenure new homes in Phase 1, Durkan entered into a partnering agreement with London and Regional Properties to design and build 462 apartments in the second and third phases of the development at Greenwich Wharf. The new apartments range in size from one to three bedrooms with large penthouse units at the top of each block providing magnificent views across and along the river Thames.

The project includes the construction and completion of:

  • 729 units with 267 for affordable housing and the remaining 462 for private sale
  • two smaller commercial buildings
  • extensive underground parking with mezzanine storage platforms and plant rooms
  • a café / restaurant
  • leisure centre with gym and swimming pool

Areas between the blocks will be developed to include community amenity space with a combination of sports pitches, landscaped gardens and the confirmation of the existing river walkway that connects Greenwich town centre to the O2 development on the peninsula. 

Construction works commenced in 2012 and the final completion of Phase 3 was in September 2016.
