Little over half a mile away from Granary & Chapel is Hertford’s town centre – home to an abundance of shops, with a nice mix of high street chains, independent stores, and charity shops.

The Hertford & Ware Waterbus also runs along the River Lea, which can take you from the town centre through to Ware Town Quay every weekend in the summer months.
