Durkan achieve Standard Accreditation in latest Investors In People assessment
Durkan are delighted to have retained its current Standard Level of accreditation after undertaking an Investors In People assessment in September in which we achieved a fantastic response rate of 93% from our employees.
Durkan were able to demonstrate a consistent improvement in all areas, and it was great to know that even after what can only be described as an ‘unprecedented’ year our people are still engaged with the business and want to have their say!
They told us that Durkan is a great place to work, they feel empowered to use their own initiative, and work well together across the whole business. Over the past two years we have introduced a number of ‘people led’ initiatives which have allowed our people to develop their skills and knowledge, and ultimately progress within the business.
Of course, there are areas in which we can improve and in the New Year we will start to build and act on the feedback we have received by involving all levels of the business to drive change forward.
