Durkan appoints new Group Land Director

Durkan, one of London and the South East’s leading independent housebuilding and construction companies, has appointed Stephen Trenwith as Group Land Director.

Stephen will oversee Durkan’s team of land and design experts, with a focus on growing the company’s emerging and successful housebuilding division – Durkan Homes. He will also play a key role in Durkan’s construction work with partners across the South East.

Stephen has 30 years’ experience in the construction and housebuilding sectors, previously working for the likes of Persimmon Homes and Berkeley Group during his career.

Prior to joining Durkan, Stephen was the Regional Development Director for Sovereign Housing Association, where he was central to adding depth to the association’s pipeline of new homes.

Commenting on his new role, Stephen said: “I was attracted to Durkan by the quality of the homes it builds, the team’s pride in its work and the enthusiasm about the company’s ambitions.

“My focus will be on growing Durkan Homes. With several developments completed or under construction, the team has built real momentum. We’ll continue to build high-quality new communities people will want to call home.”
